Because we expect far more applications than we can accept, we use a preliminary selection round in the admissions course.
This means that all applications must be accompanied by four completed assignments, which will then be reviewed by a selection committee.
Based in part on assignments 1 and 2, the selection committee will decide whether you are admitted to part 1 of the selection process. You will hear from us by mid-November at the latest whether you may begin part 1 of the selection course. The outcome of the selection is not open to correspondence.
If you are placed in part 1 (and possibly later in parts 2 and 3), you carry a serious responsibility to appear and participate. After all, you will then hold a place in our selection process, and Toneelacademie puts great effort into organising and conducting the selection. Failing to cancel in time—or worse: simply not showing up—is regarded as a serious disruption of this process.
