‘U BEVINDT ZICH HIER’ vertelt het verhaal van twee verdwaalde wandelaars die elkaar in niemandsland tegenkomen.
Er is wel een wandelkaart, maar geen pad.
De omgeving verandert met iedere stap.
Alles komt en gaat.
De weg naar buiten lijkt steeds verder weg.
De woorden om aan elkaar uit te leggen waarom ze hier zijn, en waar ze heen willen, zijn nergens te bekennen.
Komen ze hier ooit nog uit?

Mira Verhoeve voelt zich vaak verdwaald.
Geïnspireerd door Jacques Tati en Samuel Beckett vertaalt ze dat gevoel in deze voorstelling.
Samen met Rickje Zeeuw en Neele Kamerbeek, als spelers, maakt ze deze ode aan de twijfel, een ode zonder woorden.
Ze hoopt dat haar werk een verzet kan zijn tegen het gevoel dat alles meteen goed moet gaan, dat je altijd meteen weet welke kant je moet oplopen, dat alle perfecte woorden altijd op het puntje van je tong moeten liggen.
Door middel van deze speelse, fysieke, slapstick voorstelling, hoopt ze troost en erkenning te geven aan hen die dit gevoel met haar delen.

Bloemen verwelken ook,
want waar een plek is is een weg,
daarom, op zoek naar een vertrekpunt,
vertaal ik alle bestemmingen,
want aankomen is,
zolang je nog leeft,
slechts een verbastering van doorlopen.

‘YOU ARE HERE’ tells the story of two lost hikers that meet each other in no-man’s-land.
There is a map, but no path.
The surroundings change with every step.
Everything comes and goes.
The way out seems further away than ever.
The words to explain where they come from, and where they want to go, are nowhere to be found.
Will they be able to leave?

Mira Verhoeve feels lost often.
Inspired by Jacques Tati and Samuel Beckett, she translates this feeling in this performance. Together with Rickje Zeeuw and Neele Kamerbeek, as performers, she makes this ode to doubt, an ode without words.
She hopes that her work can be a resistance against the feeling that everything has to be right the first time around, that you always have to know where to go, that all the perfect words come to you immediately.
Through this playful, physical, slapstick performance, she hopes she can create a feeling of consolation and recognition to those who share these feelings with her.

 Flowers wither too,
because where there is space, there is a way,
therefore, looking for a point to leave,
I translate all destinations since arriving is,
