You learn how to deal with theatrical forms by means of improvisation, text analysis, and intensive training. You learn to act for an audience and for the camera.
You place yourself on stage. You explore the boundaries between theatre and other art forms. Cross-over is the breeding ground for performers.
You learn how to express your message as theatre. You direct actors so as to get that message across as clearly as possible.
You are trained as an independent designer for theatrical productions and are brought into contact with an international theatre network.
During this part-time programme, you develop your skills as a performer as the basis for your work as a drama teacher and director.

The selection courses are full, you can only still apply for the selection-course exclusively for the directorsprogram.

Information days

The information days allow you to receive general information about the academy. You can ask questions and see students' productions.

The upcoming information days are scheduled during the Academy's performance weeks and are sceduled on 24 december 2011 from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. !! (this date is NOT for Scenografy and Costume Design) and 18 february 2012 from 1 p.m. till 5 p.m.

Information about the Academy's day-programmes is given on these days. Registration is not necessary. If you want to see one of the performances, however — highly recommended! — you will need to reserve tickets. Information about how to reserve is given elsewhere on this website.
