Tom Van Der Borght, finalist at the Hyères Fashion Festival

Tom Van Der Borght, student of the Master in Theatre, Toneelacademie Maastricht, is one of the finalists in the category fashion at the Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival, which takes place between 15 and 19 October in Hyères, France.

The winners will be selected by a fourteen-member jury led by designer Jonathan Anderson. The jury will also include journalist Tim Blanks, model Kaia Gerber and designer Christoph Rumpf, winner of the 2019 jury award.

The Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival, also known as the Hyères Fashion Festival, is organized at the Villa Noailles in Hyères, France and takes place annually. During the festival, prizes are awarded to promising up-and-coming fashion designers, accessory designers and photographers. This year's main prize in the fashion category, the jury prize, amounts to 20,000 euros, a show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin and the opportunity to develop a project in collaboration with Chanel, one of the prize's biggest sponsors.
