Ze proberen hun controle terug te pakken in een systeem dat niet lijkt te bewegen.

Tot stand gekomen door het Fashion Film Program georganiseerd door FashionClash Festival. 

Deze film is mijn eerste professionele filmproductie met een internationaal en professioneel team. Opgenomen in onze toch vaak vergeten tv-studio in de Toneelacademie. Helemaal omgetoverd tot filmset. 

Met mede (af)studeerders in de hoofdrol: Yorvique Macaay, Inonge Jante Stekelenburg, David Sabelis en Eerin Middelkamp

Trots delen we met jullie dat dit werk geselecteerd is voor het Lift Off Film Festival Berlin en speciaal voor jullie nogmaals in Lumière Cinema getoond gaat worden tijdens Festival Gemaakt.

A fashion short film about struggling, pushing through and breathing on. A group of workers trapped in a vicious cycle of hard labor. They try to regain control in a system that doesn’t seem to move.

Created through the Fashion Film Program organized by FashionClash Festival.

This film marks my first professional production, made with an international and experienced team.
Shot in our often-overlooked TV studio at the Institute of Performative Arts, which was completely transformed into a film set.

Starring fellow (graduating) students: Yorvique Macaay, Inonge Jante Stekelenburg, David Sabelis, and Eerin Middelkamp.

We are proud to share that this work has been selected for the Lift-Off Film Festival Berlin and specially for you will be screened again at Festival Gemaakt in Lumière Cinema.

Deze voorstelling is onderdeel van het afstudeerfestival ‘GEMAAKT – LEAP OF FAITH’ dat plaatsvindt op donderdag 3, vrijdag 4, en zaterdag 5 Juli 2025.
