Toneelacademie Maastricht follows the guidelines of the government, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (travel advice) and the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences.
After careful consultation with Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, the following measures have been taken:
Decisions on the main lines:
- From 16 March, the Toneelacademie, like all Zuyd locations, will be closed to students until 6 April.
- Students of the Toneelacademie have until Wednesday, March 18, 13.00 hours to pick up necessary stuff, after that we are closed.
- The coordinators and their core teams as well as their current (guest) lecturers will investigate how alternative education can be offered remotely (i.e. digitally). In this way, they try (together with the students) to ensure that the teaching process does not come to a standstill and to keep any study delays to a minimum.
- The Teacher's Study Day, the Berlin trip, the Avicenna course, and the Open Day (25 April) do NOT take place. The (extra) activities planned from May onwards will be decided after 06 April.
