The selection course for the one-year Teaching Training programme consists of four parts:
CV
We would like to discuss your background in theatre, your current work, and your reasons for wanting to train as a theatre teacher. We will use the CV you send us as the basis for this.
These conversations will take place in a group setting, so you can get to know the other candidates as well.
Please send your CV with a photograph to the coordinator Nathalie Roymans at least 24 hours in advance: nathalie.roymans@zuyd.nl.
Portfolio
Compile a portfolio with examples of works of art, pieces of music, articles, photos, facts, jokes, drawings, stories, quotes, events, anecdotes, ... that inspire your work as an actor/director/performer/.
We would like this portfolio to reflect your sources as an artist/theatre maker. What are the things that stimulate or fascinate you when acting/directing/creating/thinking about theatre? Please bring your portfolio to the selection day, so it can serve as a guide for a discussion and assignment.
Work session on stage
We will work with you on stage, where you will experience our practice-based method. You do not need to prepare anything for this.
Meeting
At the end of the selection days, we will get together to discuss the content and structure of the postgraduate programme and answer any questions.
